Dunham Literary, Inc. is CLOSED for unsolicited queries. between July 15, 2024 and September 2, 2024.
Please do not send your query when we are closed as it will be deleted without being read. We do not save these queries and read them later when we open again. We have an automated response which goes out to all queries received when we are closed.
We will respond to queries we received before we closed. Closing for new, unsolicited queries does not impact the manuscripts that we requested to read while still open. If you submitted a manuscript and haven't heard from us yet, we are still considering your submission.
We still accept solicited queries. If you have a referral from one of our clients or someone we know, if you have a code from a conference where we were visiting faculty, or if we previously asked you to submit a query, it's fine to send it. Please note that all emails including solicited queries receive the automatic reply stating that we’re closed because there is no filter to distinguish between them.
We will open again on September 3, 2023.
If you would like to prepare for when we open again, please see our "How to Submit" page for further info.
We only accept queries about new projects by email. We have an email address which is dedicated for queries. Please make sure to use this email address. You can find it on our "How to Submit" page.
We don't accept queries by mail, phone, or fax.
Note: Dunham Literary, Inc. is not affiliated with or in any way related to The Dunham Group.
An unsolicited query is often referred to as a "cold" query.
A solicited query is a query recommended by a client, authorized by us during an online pitch event, or with a code from a conference.
