Joel Clarkson is an award-winning composer and author. His debut nonfiction book Sensing God was published in 2021, and he has also become known in the children’s literature community as a narrator of the Green Ember book series by S.D. Smith. Joel received his MLitt and PhD from University of St Andrews, and currently lives in Oxford, England. He is the son of bestselling author Sally Clarkson.
