Ellie Rose is a second-year medical student at Johns Hopkins, and started this novel in Hopkins Writing Seminars, where the Meg Walsh Fellowship funded her research on Semmelweis in Vienna.

Her debut historical fiction novel is forthcoming from Third Rail Press.
