Cara Wolahan holds a Master’s degree in the History of Art and Architecture from Boston University and a Bachelor's degree from Boston College. In addition to her graduate thesis, which explored Caravaggio's paintings of religious conversion, she has published several short-form pieces in her field. For five years, she researched and documented objects in the Art of Europe collection at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Cara is now writing her PhD dissertation at the Warburg Institute, University of London, on the use of amuletic materials by women in 16th-century Italy.
